Shehla at Fashion Pakistan Week 2010Fashion designer Shehla brought about the revival of the age old gara, Kashmiri zardozi and Mukesh techniques, at the Fashion Pakistan Week, day 2. The elegant, stylish and feminine with perfect balance of embellishment, the Prêt Trousseau Collection by Shehla was all that and more. Gained from old architecture, tapestry, carpets and places Shehla’s designs were an extension of her creative imagination and mood at a certain period in time. The collection of Fashion designer Shehla, at Fashion Pakistan Week featured luxury prêt and trousseaus. The prêt line was more fun and adventure, with a lot of draping, yet it was very wearable. Exciting animal prints and plain silks were accessorized with gold croc leather and generous use of gold chains. Silhouettes were also worked with traditional gara work.Different fabrics were used for both the collections. The prêt used loads of draped silks, prints, metal and leather while the trousseau used dreamy French nets, luxurious velvets, brocades, jamavars and Tanchois.Different fabrics were used for both the collections.
