It has taken Priyanka Chopra quite some time and a lot of hard work to get her derailed career back on track. Her career graph hit an all-time low last year with the consecutive failure of her four films - Love Story 2050, Drona, God Tussi Great Ho and Chamku.

Now that the damage has been undone (thanks to a hat trick of hits, Dostana, Fashion , Kaminey and a Best Actress IIFA award to boot), the dusky damsel can heave a sigh of relief and treat herself to a holiday.

Well, that’s what she’s done. She’s packed her bags and flew out of the country off to an undisclosed holiday destination in the East with a bunch of friends and cousins. In case you’re wondering, the bunch of buddies doesn’t include Shahid Kapur.

Priyanka’s father, who’s a doctor, tells a tabloid that a holiday was long due for his daughter. The actress has been stressing herself with too much work and she even fainted a couple of times due to exhaustion.

Now, a holiday with friends and family at a location where paparazzi won’t be on her back would do a lot of good to the actress.
